Living with loss – learning how to cope with grief in your life

PODCAST: Grief is universal but it’s also very personal and can be very isolating. It’s important to remember that you are not alone in learning to cope.

The Irish Hospice Foundation are putting on a free public event – ‘Living with Loss, Observations on grief from the inside out’ where guest speaker will be Niamh Fitzpatrick, who is a psychologist and sister of the late Captain Dara Fitzpatrick.

To learn more about the event and to hear about the challenges people face living with loss, Breffni McGuinness, Training Manager – Bereavement and End of Life Care, Irish Hospice Foundation explains the many supports available for those living with loss but he also shares some good advice on how to help someone you know cope with grief.

You can find out more about the Living with Loss event on hospicefoundation.ie or bereaved.ie. It takes place Thursday, 1st November 2018 between 5.30-8pm at the Alex Hotel in Dublin. It is free and no booking is required.
