John Sherlock is an award-winning ceramicist. He makes unique ‘sacred vessels’ designed to contain cremated ashes. He created his very first urn when he was faced with his own death. John decided that one of his last tasks was to make an urn to hold his own remains. Fortunately, John’s health turned around and he stared getting requests to make these very special urns. He explains the philosophy behind the pieces and how doing this has changed his life.
